The Messengers

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him?
And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him?
And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?
That is why the Scriptures say,

“How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

***

How beautiful are the feet of the messengers that bring GOOD news. It is SUCH good news for the one who hears it. It is more refreshing than a cool cup of water in a scorched, dry land.

And it is more than just pleasant -- it is essential, satisfying to the deepest layers of their heart! In fact, it is the very thing their heart has been crying out for, the deepest parts of them that cry for God. For they are internally swirling. Lost. Looking and seeking. Trying to find Him, but not realizing it is Him they are looking for. Their heart cries out for love, truth and wholeness but they do not know where to find it. They are as a baby crying out for his parent. They know they have need but are not able to express it and don't know where to find it.

But how beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news The messengers! They come to simply show and tell, ambassadors for the Kingdom of Light. They are the light of the world, a voice in the dark announcing,

"Here! Here is where you will find what your heart has been crying out for!
Here He is! And His name is Jesus!"
