Living in the NOW

Living in the NOW is a beautiful thing! Where else can you live out life anyway except in the NOW?

The NOW is for the living. The NOW is for the everyday man. The NOW is for the sinner who needs to come home. The NOW is for the man who is thirsty who needs a drink...for he can come NOW to quench his thirst! It's in the NOW that we can be made new. It's in the NOW that we can enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. It's in the NOW that we can forgive debts, say we're sorry, lend a hand to the homeless, wretched, blind and poor. It's in the NOW that we can sing a song of goodness, for only in the NOW can a NEW song be sung!

It's in the NOW that we become like Him. It's in the NOW that we can meet with Him. It's in the NOW that we become the people that God is crafting us to be...remade, renewed, rewired, revitalized.

Does God ever say come back tomorrow for healing? No. Because TODAY is the day of salvation! Jesus doesn't waste the NOW, for that is where the action of heaven is made present on earth when we pray, "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." God uses our present moment to fulfill eternal promises...

"Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens. and I will give you rest."(Matthew 11:28 NLT)

"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5 NLT)

"'At just the right time, I heard you.
On the day of salvation, I helped you.'

"Indeed, the "right time' is now. Today is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:1-2 NLT)
