Throw Off What Hinders
So now, therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, throw off everything that hinders! Toss it to the side! Throw it far, far from you! For what is next requires none of it. It will all get in the way. For My glory will far surpass what you have ever experienced and you will not be able to accommodate both those things and Me. You will be forced to choose between them and My glory because both will require your attention and surrender. So let it go! And what do I mean by let it go? What are these things I speak of? The things that capture your heart and lead you down rabbit trails away from Me. The things that push you farther inside yourself where you shut the door and not let Me in. These things hinder your growth for you need to stay open and hearing from Me. You need to stay available to Me. You need to stay looking at Me and attentive. 1-2-3 eyes on ME, and ME alone. For I'm going to be calling you to do things in these last days that will frighten the enemy to his core! But ONLY if you are looking at Me will you catch it! Can you ever catch a ball without looking? And so you will not be able to receive what I have for you if you're not keeping your gaze on Me and your heart palpable and open to receive it.
Don't worry about others' opinions! What they think has NOTHING to do with what I have been training YOU to do for so many years - decades in fact! Why throw away all our work (My refining, your yielding) just to try to make someone else 'happy' - and who knows if they will even be happy!? You are banking a lot on your man-pleasing efforts! And for what? They may end up more miserable in the end. What they need is what I give you, not what you think they need.
