Like It's Christmas!

"Open up the storehouses!" He said with a shout.

It's time to let the blessings rain down the great spout!

He's opened a tunnel, a portal of sorts

to send his great fortunes to every space, place, and port!

He's DELIGHTED to share - like a Christmas surprise!

He's DELIGHTED to watch as we see with our eyes

that He is not silent, that He won't hold back,

that He will deliver us and GIVE IT ALL BACK!

"HA HA!" He shouts, like a man carrying toys

to all boys and girls with hearts filled with joy.

He's tickled so pink! There's a twinkle in His eye.

He's the Maker of all and the Master of Surprise!

He sneaks in at night, while we are still snoring

His gifts are not seen until the dawn of the morning!

And JUST LIKE THAT! though we don't see Him, we know

He has CERTAINLY BEEN THERE, we know that we know!

For who could leave such marvelous gifts? 

Only Jesus, my friends!

He gives like it's Christmas!
