A Child Lead the Way
“The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—
has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!”
Luke 2:11 NLT
A child lead the way.
***
His story did not start with kings and queens.
Jesus did not come into royalty.
He came humble as humble can be --
on purpose, you see!
For He wanted to come in a way that was meek
so that people would seek--
seek the Father. Do you see?
So as you go, remember to sow
with humility and child-like faith.
For it won't be your strength or anything you do,
it will be HIM -- Him working through you!
And then this sets you free and gives you confidence and comfort
that it's not up to you to make a difference.
You just show up and He will take over,
as you give Him the reigns, you will quickly discover
that He has lots to say! So open your mouth
and He'll fill it and fill it and fill it this day.
He's teaching us to lean on His Spirit in new ways!
Just walk in love, humility and compassion.
That is what Jesus did and just look where it got him!
He reached sooo many and showered God's love
all because He surrendered His life to His Father above.
And so, do the same.
Do the same as Jesus did.
Walk the walk and reach the lost
with humility and love.

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.
When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.
