Today
Today.
A day to remember. A day to ponder. A day to reflect and wonder and wonder. A day to investigate! To find out what is true! A day to be sorry for all the things that you do. Yes, a day of repentance and holy fear. To call upon the name of the Lord while He is near! A day to think about what He has done for you and that EVERY sin is covered, every act you can not undo.
It's a day to pause, look up and reflect. A day to bow down, bend your heart and genuflect. A day to stop playing games with your life and salvation. A day to get sober and remember that after these hours, these days, these years... it will all be over...and then you will come into eternity forever.
It's a day for some to stop messing around.
Get serious about where you will go
once the stage lights come down.
Today is a great day to think on these things and remember (YES REMEMBER!) that God wants to be near you more than anything! He's not standing back with His arms crossed in anger.
No! Just LOOK! There is Jesus whose arms are wide open!
Let that be enough to fill you with wonder!
Just imagine what He went through as He took your sin. Imagine.
Just imagine.
And to think He would do it again!
And TODAY,
yes TODAY He extends
His Invitation.
And TODAY,
yes TODAY
is a great day
to lift your eyes
and accept His salvation.
