Known & Lavished On

I know you.

I know your thoughts. 

I know your heart. 

I know the things that make you cry 

and the things that make you sigh. 

I know them and I am deeply moved 

by even your whisper in the night. 

So, don't ever think I am not listening or not aware. 

I am not a father that does not care! 

I am your Maker. And that is not a lie. 

I created you. I formed you 

and I made you Mine. 

You are known. 

To the deepest parts of you, you are known and so special in My sight!

And so when you need Me, just begin speaking. 

Just include Me into what you are doing and thinking. 

There's no need to make a spectacle or a show. 

Just let Me in like opening a door. 

For that is all I need. An opening from you to let Me lead. 

And then when I come through the door, 

I come with gifts and strength 

and so much more! haha! 

Yes, I never come empty-handed! I always have full arms. 

And I gladly leave them for you to have -- yes, each and every one.
