Unique

How brilliantly fashioned people are! They are my handiwork! They are the product of My love. They are not thrown together hastily. They are handmade by My hand. So I do not take anyone lightly as if some people matter more than others. No! Each person is beautiful, unique, wonderfully made. 

So why say, "This person is worth more than this person"? What are your judgements based on? Are they based on mere appearance? Are they based on talent? This is the world's system -- the ranking of people's worth. 

But I tell you that this is not what the Kingdom of God is like. There is no comparison of worth, for each person is irreplaceable. No one person is like the other, like the fine gems of the earth -- each one special, each one cherished and appreciated. There is no one person that is like another in all the world. And I hold each one with tenderness, loving them for who they are.

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. 

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
