Rescue Operation
This morning's entry came out as a prayer and declaration for what God is doing in our day. I picture it as a rescue operation. And rescue operations can bring much disruption -- in a good way.
I think of those scenes in movies where kids have been kidnapped and the place where they are hidden is quiet and controlled. And then suddenly the SWAT team explodes through the door and disrupts the whole thing! That moment can feel extremely scary to the kids that have been kidnapped. But, they might not realize that the disruption is for their rescue! And for the kids who were kidnapped at a young age and don't know anything else but this life of captivity, it might seem even more disrupting and confusing and even be interpreted as an 'enemy' coming in and 'messing up their lives.'
Our question today is this: When things begin to truly shift in the world, will you recognize God's hand in it? Will you see His rescue? Will you see how He is doing a new thing -- and this new thing is unto our freedom?
One thing we can be certain of: We do not have to fear. Even as we go through the shaking, we remember that it is not our enemy that is disrupting things. It is our God. And He is doing what only He can do. And it is for our rescue! We can trust Him!

Open up my eyes to see this great surprise, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights. Oh, beautiful Savior, Your justice reigns!
You will not be silent in this time. Your move is like no other of its kind! You will shake the heavens and shake the earth. ALL will feel it from east to west and south to north! For those who are watching, they will be in awe and wonder. For those who are not, they will be spellbound by your thunder! They will stop in their tracks. They will pause and look around. "What is happening," they will say, as your glory hits the ground!
They don't know it but this is their rescue! They will be like ones who have been held captive and now have to be reintroduced! Introduced to something called Freedom! They think they know its definition. But You will show them that their lives have been filled with oppression! Oh the deception! They have always been told to 'trust the system!'
But this system is tumbling down faster than dominos on a hill! This system is crashing and will burn, so it can not be rebuilt! Like Babylon the great. Like the empires that have come down. Oh, Lord! We watch as you come in and dismantle the things that have brought us so much harm!!
Oh fearless Savior, nothing is impossible with You! You are breaking us free! Help us now to trust You!
