As In The Days of Noah
I remember the day I realized it. I was walking through the grocery store and thought, This is ridiculous. I can't create a healthy meal for my family with what is being presented to us, given to us, to work with. As I looked around, I felt the frustration deepen inside me. Most of the items on the shelves could no longer be options for me because I knew the truth about them. I had taken time to scan labels and started to understand what the ingredients were. And to put it plainly, many of them were downright toxic! I mean, literally. One of the apps I use can rate the level of harm it is to a human body and many products (most of the products!) came up red! (most toxic! Like cancer-causing toxic!) The pretty pictures on the labels try to mask it and deceive us to think otherwise. But, once you know, you know. You can choose to turn a blind eye, but the facts are the facts.
Many people have found this same frustration in other aspects of our society, like education. In the past few years, parents are taking a closer look at the material their children are being handed and are completely appalled! "What in the world!?" some parents are saying, as they take inappropriate books found in their child's school library and present it to the school board administration. They are demanding answers and more than just a tweaking. They are looking for an overhaul.
Same goes with our financial system, or should I say our debt/slavery system. Who is really living in financial freedom right now? Most of us are slaves to debt and an endless cycle of working to pay it off. We are as oppressed as the Israelites in Egypt.
Or how about our churches? How many are actually feeding people the pure Word of God? How many are so corrupt they don't look any different from the world if you were to lift their religious veneer?
How about our justice system? Is it living up to its name??
I'm not trying to be a 'Debbie Downer'. I'm merely making a point and a coming-to-terms with reality. We are overrun with corruption and evil on every level of our society, all 'seven mountains,' as many people have described it (Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts & Entertainment, Business). We are infested like a body filled with parasites and cancer.
Who can save us from this overwhelming calamity??

Yes, only Jesus.
We have found ourselves in a similar circumstance as Noah did back in his day. (You know, Noah's Ark, Noah.) We are being devoured by evil at every turn. And there was only one solution for him and one solution for us: God's deliverance.
I believe God is ready to move again in a similar way. No, not to physically flood the earth. He said He would never do that again. But He IS going to flush the systems of our world. And what good news that is for us! Praise God! We need God to help us!
I believe this is why He has been warning many people in the church to brace themselves and buckle up -- because we are about to go on the 'water ride' of our lives as God flushes us clean!
So, today's question(s) is this:
Do you see what I see?
Do you see the need for
God's cleansing?
Do you see how much we need Him to intervene and help us?
And thankfully, He is and is going to sweep us clean!
God is not abandoning us. He has heard our cries. They have reached His ears. And He is coming to help!
