When the Devil Goes Down

The enemy schemes but he plays into MY HAND!

Oh he never does learn as he overplays HIS hand. haha!

He takes it too far and then suddenly falls down

slipping on his own banana peels! ha! What a clown!!

I laugh at his efforts! He thinks he is so tough!

But he lives out a lie and now he's about to get SNUFFED!

This devil's been dooped -- oh watch now as he falls!

For his pride leads the way

and there's no chance for recovery --

no chance at all!

Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” 

But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.
