It Took Two To Tango
The Garden. The fruit. The trespass! Was it just Eve to blame? Was it just Adam? Hardly. Together they brought the whole thing down. They were in agreement to disobey God and consequently, sin came into the world and relationship between man and God was severed.
The baby. The manger. The Savior! Was it just Mary to credit? Was it just Joseph? Hardly. Together they co-labored with God. They were in agreement to obey God and consequently they watched as God stepped in and saved the world!
Your marriage. Your life. Your calling! Have you accidentally been placed together? Does God not have a plan for your marriage? Hardly. God loves to work through marriages! And there is power in agreement! What a powerful force marriage creates against the powers of darkness - for now there are not just two hands pushing forward, but four! Imagine. If God can work through Mary and Joseph in such a tremendous way, what can He do through Holy Spirit-filled married Believers who are in agreement!
