Come Up Here
1 John 4:5 Those people belong to the world, so they speak from the world's viewpoint, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.
Revelation 4:1 Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this."
Isaiah 55:8-9 "My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the Lord. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”

God has been speaking to me about the importance of 'coming up higher' to hear Him. Enter into His space, so-to-speak. It's the 'secret place.' It's the place where the world's voice gets quieter and His voice gets louder. His reality gets stronger. Here is where we hear Him clearer and we realize that He thinks sooo much differently than the world does.
Have you ever had a conversation with someone who is so different from all your other friends and family, so different in their viewpoint? They offer a perspective to things you never thought of before. In part, this is kind of what God is saying.

Here are today's thoughts with the Lord:
Come visit Me and let's chat. Let me tell you things you don't know and show you things from a different angle (heaven's perspective). I will never lie to you, so what you hear from Me is always the correct perspective. No matter what the world tells you, you can trust MY words to be true. My words will not fail you. My words will give you what you need to follow Me and give you an abundant life.
Am I a liar? Do I speak what is not true?
No, I tell you, every word that comes from My Spirit is spot on. It does not have an ounce of deception, nor even a slight hue of the world's perspective. No, I do not mix the world's viewpoint with heaven's just as you can not mix oil with vinegar. Heaven speaks from heaven's perspective. It will never advise you with human reasoning. For My ways are higher than your ways. I run My 'ship' according to My standard, not the world's. And so, when I speak, you can trust that every word is true. I am not a liar. And I guide with wisdom, clarity and peace. Always peace.
