Lighter Than The Atmosphere

Balloons go UP 

when they are filled with air 

that is lighter than what 

is in the atmosphere. 

And so does your heart 

when you fill up on Me! 

Your heart lifts UP! 

into the eternal things!

So don't be so heavy 

and burdened below! 

Come and fill UP! 

on this joy that overflows! 

Don't stay down there! 

Come up here! 

For here is where 

the beauty appears!!

Yes, it's hard to see 

the beauty of a flower 

when you sit in the dirt 

and stare for hours. 

But if you see its petals 

from ABOVE, 

you capture its radiance 

and your heart fills 

with joy, hope and love! 

You're not so sad, not so blue 

when you come up here 

and catch the view! 

"Ahhhhh!" you'll say 

from this vantage point. 

"Everything looks different! 

SO DIFFERENT 

in my sight!"
