When You Call My Name
There is joy for those who follow Me! I am not a hard task master that sits above the earth, whipping My students. I am not "that guy." I am loving and kind and I come to you. I don't pull back when you call My Name.
I am with you. I am your Counselor, Helper and Friend. I don't add burdens to your shoulders, I take them away! I lift the heavy load off of you when you come, when you call My Name.
I don't misunderstand things. I always understand what is going on. So even when things are too complicated to pray and talk about them, I will still respond when you call My Name.
I'm not concerned about pomp and circumstance. I am not looking for a welcome committee and fanfare. I am humble. I am not a proud God that needs accolades. I am more concerned about your heart than I am "feeding My own ego." I come quickly to you through the blood alone when you call My Name.
I walk in the cool of the morning with you. I enjoy the afternoon breeze by your side. I rest in the meadow in the evening with you. I am with you all the time. So, don't be afraid to speak to Me, your loving Father and Friend. I am right here and I am ready to help, all the time, when you call My Name.
