Bragging Rights

Where does our power come from? Where does all wisdom come from? Why, it is found in the river that flows through the land! No one can own that river or claim that river, for it is from heaven. 

And no one can say, "I dug a trench for that river." Or, "Look! I am the one who deposited all that treasure!" No. The River of God is from God alone. So, only He gets the credit, let only His name be known. 

For, does a merchant on the street who simply sells the wares, start saying that He crafted them all himself? No, that wouldn't be fair. He gives credit to the creator of all the things he sells. He tells the truth and does not deceive those who take from his shelves.
