Through My Eyes
Walk with Me today and let Me show you things.
Look around. Do you see what I see?
Do you see how the tree grows up?
But the fruit grows down?
Do you see how each blade of grass
is part of a chorus of sound?
Each one playing its part, not trying to overstep.
They work together to blanket the earth --
they grow and grow up and then they all get trimmed down.
A chorus of grass, a chorus of sound.
And do you see how the ocean moves?
Its rhythm is marvelous and mesmerizing, too.
It speaks of mysteries and history, too!
Just let Me tell you!
And, do you see how the fortunes are hidden in the earth?
Yes, I bury My treasure until its discovered, unearthed.
And do you see how the dolphins talk and have much to say? haha! Yes, I tell you, I hear them jabber and jabber the day away! haha!
And the porcupine! Have you noticed My friend?
His needles keep him from getting too much attention.
But, he is just as loved as anything else in My creation.
And the jolly, little penguin who is dressed to impress.
He is a fine-looking fellow and slides with finesse! haha!
And the sticky-footed frogs that not too many know about.
But I see them and know them! And that is all that counts!
Do you notice these things around you?
Do you see what I have made?
They all tell a story.
They all reflect my workmanship.
They all display My glory everyday.
So walk with Me today,
and let Me show you what I see.
Let Me open your eyes to see the world
so differently,
in all its splendor and beauty!
