Through The In-Between

Lately, I have been feeling the crescendo in the air. It's the sound of things breaking through. It's the announcement of the NEW. We are right on top of it. It is at our door. It is exciting. But, also makes me brace myself a bit more. 

Yesterday, God reminded me again to "settle into His Peace." I didn't publish that entry yesterday, but I think I'll go ahead and leave it here. He said: 

Settle in now for the ride of your life. Settle. Settle into peace. Let that be your center. And never leave it. For “though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.” (Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬) WATCH to see My hand deal with them. WATCH as I deliver you in the process!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. He is going to do something in our day that we would not believe even if someone told us. And on the other side of it, it's going to be NEW and WONDERFUL. But, in order to get to that place, we're going to have to walk through the transition. The "in-between.” The space between here and there. And God, being the wonderful Father that He is, is making me think about it like one going on a trip. We focus on our destination and not over-emphasize the hassles we might face as we travel to get there. (Or another metaphor would be giving birth. Moms and dads are so excited to have a new baby, but they aren't ignorant to what it's going to take to deliver that baby. They dream and are excited but know there is an in-between called delivery.)

So here is this morning's entry as God continues to prep me and keep me excited and looking up at Him. It's going to be a wild ride, folks. But know that He is in charge of everything -- the beginning, the destination and all the in-between.

Dream now of what will be later. 

When people go on trips, they dream about their arrival, even though there is travel in-between. Even though they know they might have to fight traffic or delays or setbacks. Even though they might find themselves waiting in lines, passing the time, dealing with other people they don't know. They don't focus on the transition, they focus on their destination! And so it is with things in your life as you move into the next thing I have for you. Yes, there might be a messy in-between stage, but it won't last long and the destination is all worth it!

So don't give up before the journey even begins. Don't slow down in packing your bags. Stay on top of it. Be in forward motion. Don't let the in-between transition discourage you or keep you from your excitement into the new thing I have for you! Keep your heart free from worry. Keep looking up at Me. I will calm you. I will buckle you in for the ride. I will get you there. For I am not just in the destination, I am with you now. I am with you from start to finish! And we will go together! I am the best travel Buddy! haha! And I know how to navigate you through the in-between!
