Almost There

I'm not gonna lie. I've been fatigued lately. Fatigued in my heart. Tired. Like a deep tired. Like the-journey-has-been-long tired. But, I've said to the Lord, "Lord, I still believe you. It's just that... I'm tired." 

He gets that. And He does not condemn me for it. Instead, I have felt Him pull me closer. I know He appreciates my honesty with Him and that I feel comfortable saying what I really feel. 

And being the good Daddy that He is, He gives me a big hug and kiss and encourages me yet again. He never stops speaking gentle encouragement to me. Never. Every time I come to Him He has more kind things to say! 

So, here is today's encouragement from Him:

I AM opening doors to you, darling! And these doors are heavy and wide and strong. They will not be able to shut once they are open. NO ONE will be able to move them! haha! For I am your GOOD FATHER and when I open doors, I don't let them swing back and hit you in the bottom! haha! I create a way and make it known to you and bring you through with flying colors! 

You are like a graduate who is receiving her diploma. You have been tested and tried and you have come through remarkably! And NOW you will see for yourself what is on the other side of all this testing. You will understand more of the "why." Why you have endured SO much! For I have not taken your pain lightly and I have made sure that each and every moment is adding up in YOUR favor. NOTHING will be wasted. Not one tear. Not one trial. Not one poke and pain. NOT ONE. I have kept track and have precisely made sure that NOTHING is lost... yes! ALL WILL BE RETURNED!! I have kept track of each and every moment that was taken from you!! And you will get it all back!

Continue to stand on these promises. Continue to declare them! Let your words speak faith not doubt! Let your heart sing with gratitude not grumbling. Let your eyes not sink down but be lifted UP! For this is not the time to give up! NO! This is not the time to falter! Does a runner stop just before the finish line?? No! He pushes and leans into his victory! haha!
