The Painting

A painting is only finished when the artist puts his brush down, and You are still holding the paint-dipped brush. It's easy to see that You're just getting started. The foundation of the painting is laid for me. 

What comes next will surprise and delight! For You are about to paint a landscape drenched in beauty and light! You will brush and brush and every stroke will be deliberate. You won't miss a single mark in it. The vision in Your mind will play out as it should. You'll do it. You'll make sure of it. And we'll see for ourselves You are faithful and good!

The world is full of glamour, but this is not that. You are making something classic. A masterpiece, in fact! It's not about appearance, but it's amazing to the senses. Everything You do is lovely, and what You make will wow the masses!

You take Your time (these things take time). This is not a hurried little project. You are kind to Your artwork, never pushing the process. You are painting something beautiful with long-lasting successes!

So I hold steady, while You paint on. Go forward, My love. I am this masterpiece; the masterpiece in Your hands, in Your arms.
