Defrosted

How lovely are the feet 

that bring GOOD News! 

They stomp on the enemy 

as they love those with the blues. 

Haha! 

They are whimsical and wonderful and make people look twice. 

They are happy and yes JOLLY even on days cold as ice. 

Their feet are like heaters 

that melt all the snow!

Each place that they step,

every spot that they go!

Then look! Those with cold hearts! 

Why, they begin to melt

as hope is given 

and love is deeply felt. 

They open their eyes 

that have been frozen shut

as they feel the warmth 

and a sudden rush --

the rush of goodness 

poured over their heads! 

It's abundantly given 

to those filled with dread! 

Their eyes light up 

like the Grinch who stole Christmas! 

Their revelation is sincere as they kneel down and worship.

Only God! Only God! 

can take such cold hearts 

and warm them and love them 

back to wholeness and health!
