My Story, His Glory

Some mornings need more encouragement than other mornings. This morning was one of them. I needed to be reminded again of, well, just about all the basics...that God loves me and that He is faithful and that He won't let me down and I am secure in Him... and even after all these years of walking with the Lord, He is still teaching me that the words in the Bible are not just words on a page. They are living. They are active. They are relevant to life. And I can, by faith, devour them, claim them as mine and find peace and comfort anytime I need it. It's seriously amazing. I don't have to be like a person who walks around hungry all day wishing for just a morsel of bread when all the while my refrigerator is stocked to full capacity! The Bible delivers every time. I can honestly say it. Every time.

So here's this morning's raw entry, God's sweet encouragement over my life and yours, as well, friend. Your life is God's poetry. Your story is for His glory.

I am working things out so well, so brilliantly, even the most talented writer could not complete this story as well as I am going to complete yours! Oh, the grand finale in your story, darling! The whispers of darkness are fading even now as you are brought into your glorious light in ME. My light will be as a spotlight on you -- not to highlight what is wrong but to show the world that you are My spotless Bride! Your story is "too good to be true" as they say. It's one fairy tales are made of. It has not been for the faint of heart, but look! You are not fainting! See! I have upheld you with MY righteous right hand!

So do not be jealous of others' stories. Don't point to their plots and wish yours was like theirs. No, darling! Never envy another's story for your story can only be told through you! Who would tell your story if you lived someone else's? And would you truly be happy anyway? Each story is tailor-made. And you are suited perfectly for your story and I have been speaking through your story your whole life -- even when you have been unaware. I love your story, darling! It's one of My favorites and 'one for the books'! haha! You will be able to come back and read it again and again and be amazed every time how I have worked it so brilliantly every single time. You will be amazed how I, your faithful Friend and Hero, always came through every single time! Oh, the story we are telling, darling! And your story will be read by others and they will see for themselves how good and faithful I am and be encouraged for their own life! YOUR STORY is your brightest tool to help others see how much love I have and how faithful I am! 

So, never give up on the story I am telling through you, darling. Don't despise it. But rather cherish it! Wake up each day and be excited for another page to be written in it! Another day to live out My faithfulness and promises. For many people never understand the story that is being told in their lives and they miss the beauty of it! They give up after Act I or when the villain is introduced. But those who persevere with Me and stay to the end of the story are the most delighted and they are so glad they stuck it out -- for I am the best Storyteller!
