The Great Fear Fighter!

Your WORD is a LAMP to my feet! A LIGHT to my path! And so I will journey on and follow in Your footsteps with the light that illuminates from each imprint You leave! Glowing footsteps on the path that is lit for me! 

Oh glorious King! You don't leave us in the dark! You don't make us figure things out on our own,

for without You we are simply lost -- 

with no hope and no way to know our way out! 

Oh Lord! How costly it was for You, but no expense on me! You are more than a Savior! You are a generous King! And so you held nothing back to make sure I knew, just how much You love me! Oh, Lord! You truly do!

So if You love me (yes you do!)

and if You said You'll light the path 

and lead and guide me through, 

then Lord there's no reason for me to fear! For fear is just silly when every moment You are near! 

It's like a child who is scared of the monsters under her bed, when all the while her daddy is there, 

putting an end to all imaginations and dread! 

You whisper so kindly into my ear, 

reassuring me AGAIN that there's no need to fear. 

"It's a waste of your energy and resources, My dear!"

 (You tenderly remind Me that I live in Your house and in Your house there's PEACE and that peace is my atmosphere!) 

"So if you start to feel a shift in the air. And peace starts to leave you, just look UP, My dear! For there I am STILL, 

YOUR Daddy, 

who chases away ALL fear!"
