Teaching By Example
You open up my eyes to see Your wonderous love, showering down upon us in a mighty, rushing flood! You tip over caskets and bring us back to life! Oh God! You are merciful! There is no one like You -- there's NO ONE You are like!
And so with this breath and with this voice I will proclaim Your endless mercy. You could have struck us down, but instead you lead us into a life that is filled with this same mercy. You show us first, teaching by example, so then we would know what it looks like and can walk in this same principle. Oh Lord, you always do first what you then expect from us! And if YOU show great mercy -- then we should also love with this same love!

Oh Lord! Help us extend your mercy to those who continuously offend. Help us remember all that we, OURSELVES, have been given.
