Inside Your Love

I'm standing here in front of You 

seeing You in full view

I'm beside myself

as I wonder why 

You love me like You do.

I grapple with these thoughts 

and disqualify myself.

But I must resist 

and must persist

to absorb this love that's all mine.

Joy! Great joy to be found inside Your love!

All the fears I walked in with

are now left outside,

washed in the flood.

Your flood of mercy leaves me speechless

and I am forever amazed

that you don't turn away the sinner.
