The Trail of a Snail

The snail. The small, slimy snail

that leave trails

of guck 

and yuck

and what is unpleasant.

We don't like it.

Nope, not at all,

not for one single second.

But the slime to the snail

is a friend, not a foe.

It needs it to get to the places it goes.

It glides on its slime 

and then it becomes like a compass

so he knows his way back.

See! It's all for a purpose!

So don't be so quick to judge at first sight.

A snail leaves a trail for its good in his life.

And what is unpleasant to us 

is just normal to him.

He's unique and so wonderful

if we just understand him.
