The Light

Open up the curtains and the blinds!

Look! The radiance of My love comes in like the sunshine!

It flows in gently and brightly and clear.

It reveals things hidden and makes them "appear."

"How did we not see it before?" you might say.

"How did we miss it, when it's as plain as the day?"

But without the light of heaven shining on the earth, 

things stay hidden in darkness, for sure.

They settle in and become a normal way of life.

You grow used to it and don't notice it

yet they torment you day and night.

See, it's hard to see abnormal things 

when they are normal in your life.

So break away and come into the light!

Let My light shine on all the places!

Your home, your kids and even your finances.

Let Me take My light and make clear

all the things you don't see -- without condemnation, My dear!

No, I will not condemn you for you were blind to these things.

My mercy covers all as I make you more like Me.

So, do not be afraid! My light is healing and truth!

There's nothing you should fear 

as I draw even closer to you.

I love you more than anything! And I will only be good,

I will only be good to you.
