Prince & Savior

The Prince of Peace, He carries me.

He will not let me go.

Let Him whisper in my ear, oh Lord,

for in Him there is no wrong way to go.

He always knows what's right.

He will not walk down alleys 

and leave me there for wolves to feast.

He is so kind, like You, dear Daddy.

He is loving toward the least.

Saviors save.

Deliverers deliver. 

He is both to us! He is what we truly desire!

LORD! We NEED a Savior! To think we don't would be a lie!

Just look at us! Look at our great need! Look at our broken lives!

We need you, dear God.

Let us put our prides aside,

stop lying to ourselves, 

stop thinking we can fix it 

with our own sacrifice.

For it's not by might and not by power

that makes our hearts heal 

and relationship come together.

It's by Your Spirit. It's in Him alone

that we are mended. In Him we are made whole. 

And we rejoice in knowing You're just a prayer away.

Just a whisper of Your Name.

We don't have to plead, for You're already willing!

Just say the word, dear Lord!

And may our hearts be forever Your dwelling.
