Revelation comes only from above. It is not in man's heart, it is in God's heart. And it is freely given through Christ to all those who ask for it. 

So ask! See, when you ask, you are opening your heart. Those who are closed-fisted, closed-minded will not open their closed lips to ask. And if you can't open to ask, how can you expect to receive? Only an open vessel can let the new wine in.

So don't allow yourself to live out in the fringe, away from Me. Come close! Draw near! Ask Me your questions, tell me your thoughts! How can a child get to know his father if he never comes near?

Draw close. Ask boldly. Drink deeply. 

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. 

“You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.”
