1-2-3 Eyes On Me!

Teacher: “1-2-3 eyes on me!”

Students: “1-2 eyes on you!”

This is a common phrase among some classroom teachers. It’s an easy way to get everyone’s attention. Students know that when they hear this phrase it’s time to focus on their instructor.

In the same way, the Lord is eager to get us focused on Him.  I can hear Him saying this to His children today: “Pay attention kids. Look only at Me. Don’t worry about the wind and the waves. I AM your great refuge! ‘Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.’ (John 16:33 NLT)

 1-2-3 eyes on ME!”

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you,

all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
