I Can See Clearly Now

 

On the horizon, 

as the sun breaks through,

I hear the Shepherd calling, 

with hope and life and truth.

He has lifted the veil so we can see clearly.

He didn't leave us in 

this wandering query. 

He has made Himself known.

He's available to ALL.

He shows Himself plainly 

to the big and the small.

He makes grown men hush,

those who 'have all the answers.'

They are simply in awe 

of His majesty and wonder.

He clears our eyes 

that we all may see

the beauty, the brilliance

of His presence and glory.

And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people) ‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ‭AMP‬‬
