Peace

And let the peace that comes from Christ RULE in your hearts.

Rule: to exercise authority or power over. Boss, captain, govern, lead, bridle, control, curb. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

Let PEACE be the captain. Let PEACE be the Boss of your heart. Let Him be the One that leads and bridles and controls you. Let Him curb you. Let Him dictate which thoughts stay and which thoughts leave. Let Him be the One to have the final say in what you mull over, think on. Let Him be the boss of your core, your heart, where life flows from, where your mouth speaks from. (Proverbs 4:23, Matthew 12:34) For if your heart is ruled by Peace, your words will be filled with peace and confidence in the One who gives you that Peace.

For, Peace is the one who fights every thought that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. (2 Corin. 10:5) Peace is your great weapon, your ally against confusion and turmoil. If Peace settled the mighty sea (Mark 4:35-41), He can certainly settle any storm in the human heart. 

Jesus is Peace. Our Great Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6) And He leads you beside peaceful waters, restoring your very soul. (Psalm 23)

We Rest In Peace -- not just when we pass from this earth, but we rest now, 

even this very moment.
