The New Man

Who's in charge here? The old man or Me? Which man will respond to Me? The old one or the new? Of course, the new. The new man is alive, the old man is dead as a doorknob. I'm not going to relate to you according to your flesh. I'm going to relate to you according to your spirit who is alive in Christ and who is already seated with Me in heavenly places. So all the downloads I give you, all the creativity, all the intercession, all the plans, all the things I want to give you will be in relation to your new man in Christ. The new man will bend to Me. Your old man won't - so give up on that notion that we can somehow tame him. It's such nonsense and rubbish! Who came up with that teaching? Certainly not Me. Life only comes from the Spirit, and that Spirit is in you and moves you and frees you to be who you are and lean and bend to My voice! It is there that you find your freedom! Realize it's not about getting that old man to behave and perform well, but to cut him off and live from your new man! And I, yes I, will show you how!

This next season will be so different simply because you will not be dragging that dead man around everywhere you go. You won't live from its every whim which affects your emotions and knocks your confidence in Me clear off the table. You'll be so stable in Me because you will see that I am IN you and WANT the best for you and WILL MOVE YOU to follow Me everywhere I go - even to the ends of the earth! 

And that is how you'll see things that are impossible, to be quite possible. It's the new man who runs with Me, not the old! Christians that you admire so much run with Me everywhere and anywhere because they no longer bend to the old man anymore. And with the new man, you also will be able to say, "Yes! Everything is possible!"
