Go! Go! Go!
Go! Go! Go!
It’s what emergency response law enforcement is trained to do when a killer is attacking. GO! Not stay. Not stage. Not stand there. Go. Go until the situation is neutralized. Go until there is no longer a threat to human life present.
What training this requires! How hard it must be to go against your natural human instincts to run from harm. In a real time situation, these response teams need to be brave enough to go toward the danger, not away. Their motivation to save lives must be stronger than their desire for self preservation.
Our training as Warriors of the Light isn’t much different. Though our battles are found in the unseen realms, our charge is the same “GO! GO! GO!” Not stay. Not stage. Not stand there. Go. Go because the threat is real and the Attacker is active. He is seeking whom he can devour and in these last days, his rampage is obvious.
Jesus, Himself, used the word: GO!
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

We have full permission, have full authority, and can be fully confident in this Command. Now is not the time to be spiritually passive. Now is the time to engage.
But listen! We only move forward with God. He sends us out, but not by ourselves and not with our own agenda. This is a War that can not be fought with just intellect, based on what we see with our natural eyes. For the devil is sly and can make himself look like the good guy. He wants to trick us and divert our efforts. If we don’t fight along side God, we will find ourselves fighting against Him and not even realizing it. How important it is then for us not only to be Warriors for God, but also Lovers and Listeners. We must first hear His heart before engaging in the Battle.
So, GO! GO! GO!
but go with Him, not against Him.
