I Will Believe You

Today I will believe you. 

I will believe you when you tell me you love me.  I won't try to talk you out of it or give you reasons why you can't, shouldn't, or won't. 

I will believe you when you remind me that I am no longer condemned. You took my place. And if you had to do it all over again you would. 

I will believe you when you say you'll provide for me.  Do the birds sing songs of worry? No, they delight in their Creator all day long and find what they need when they need it. How sweet it is to trust in you!

I will believe you when you touch my face and lift my head.  Why so sad, oh my soul? Put your Hope in God! You won't let your hand leave my face until I'm fully convinced. 

I will believe you when the storms come. They are so scary, Father! Yet, I'm not alone.  And every place in this Journey teaches me one more thing about you. I want to live my life getting to know you and watching you prove yourself time and time again.  I am safe in your Hands and have a vantage point like never before!

I will believe you when you say it's time to rest. I will lay me down and not bring my cares with me into sleep. You sing your songs of Deliverence over me. 

And I will believe you when you say that I will see you One Day. This world is quickly fading and a new Day is about to dawn! So I will live my life with my eyes on heaven and my hands doing the Father's business.

I will believe you because...

because you really are Real. Because you have never lied to me and you never will. I will believe you because in the end I will realize it truly was all worth it and I will have NO REGRETS.
