What a Wonderful World🌸

I may have mentioned that I teach private piano and singing lessons, mostly to kids. (I love it! ;) In a lesson recently, my student was learning the song called, "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. In it, it paints a picture of a beautiful world. After listening to the song, my student, who is only about 10 years old remarks... "Yeah, it's not such a wonderful world." My heart broke in that moment! To think that his perception of life was so dismal at his age was the saddest thing to me.

And this morning's entry addresses this very thing. God is reminding us that He is the God of hope! And He's telling us that He is about to fill the earth with so much glory (Himself) that we won't be able to go anywhere without seeing Him and being reminded of His love! He is going to put Himself out there (even more than He even has up to this point in history). What a hope we have in this generation! Not just the hope of heaven one day, but the hope of the latter rain that the Bible talks about! His presence, His glory filling the earth! Oh, what a wonderful world!🌸

***

And so it begins! The start of a new day, new month, new year (Jewish New Year) and season! For the old is GONE the new has COME! And the earth rejoices and sings and dances for THIS is the day that it has been waiting for! The earth has groaned waiting for the unveiling of the sons and daughters of God. And now people will see! The world will see!

And in the same way your adversary's acts and plans were so obvious to people, so My Spirit, My Glory, My Love will be obvious to people. And I will fill the corners and the cracks (every space and place!) with Myself, My Glory. People will not be able to go anywhere without being reminded that I love them! haha! "What a wonderful world it really is!" they will say as I 'repaint the canvas.' I will show people how beautiful life is and how much hope there is and how much they are loved! The world has been dealt a 'bad hand,' but I have come so that they may have life and life more abundantly! (John 10:10)

I'm not stopping there either. I'm making sure that people know that I am kind and loving BUT ALSO GENEROUS. Because isn't every good dad generous? Isn't that one of his trademarks? Fathers give. And Grandfathers often give even more because they have more years behind them. A good father keeps his hands open to His children, a good grandfather keeps his pockets stuffed with goodies! haha! And I am both!

My hands are open!
My pockets are stuffed!
And I come to love on people
so, so deep,
so, so much!

The thief comes only to
steal and kill and destroy;
I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.
