The Third Day
Open your heart again and again.
Posture yourself before the King of all men.
Come and be quiet. Come and listen.
Listen to the Father who is giving instruction.
Listen to the words that come from His mouth.
He is exact. He is perfect. He knows what He is talking about.
He is giving out blueprints and strategies and plans.
He is making it clear what He envisions for the land.
He is making it clear in obvious ways!
He does not want you to miss it -- for these are great days!
He is excited to unfold the 'third day' plans!
He is excited to show you how you fit
as He moves across the land.
He is uprooting and dismantling.
He is clearing the plot for new growth!
He is making sure that the soil is good
and mantling His people with cloaks.
He is pouring out generously like never before!
This IS the final day, the final chapter, for sure!
He is wrapping up time, for He can't strive with man forever.
But He will not close the chapter
without a grand and spectacular factor!
He's going to light up the world with His glory, you will see!
Everyone will know. Everyone, indeed!
It seems impossible, but this is because
He has never done anything this big,
nothing quite this explosive! haha!
Can you feel the joy that comes from His belly?
He is so excited to give us the Kingdom!
He is so excited to gather the many!
OH! This is what we have been waiting for!
This is what we have been looking for!
And so we welcome the King of all kings.
We lay down our garments as He walks into the city.
"Hosanna!" we cry! "Hosanna to the King!
Oh, come and be with us as You stomp out our enemies!"
Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory.
