Brought Out With A Blessing

I'm watching for You to break the yoke.

I'm waiting for You to do it!

The heaviness. The things I can't move.

The things that are 'impossible'

But, not for YOU!

I'm watching for You to do it,

to rescue and relieve.

Just like You did for the Israelites!

You came and set them free!

You broke their bondage 

ONCE & FOR ALL!

They were no longer captives.

They were free to leave 

with booty and all!

Yes, You didn't take them out

with nothing in their hands. 

They took the lot with them

so they could prosper in the land!

Oh, God! You are so generous!

You do nothing for us half way! 

When You fix things 

You. Do. It. Right.

Oh, the blessings that keep chasing us

as we live each day in Your sight!

The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians.
