The King & The Way

The King has power to command and release.

He has authority to raise up those who are least.

His arms are always open. See how He hung upon the cross?

He gave himself completely, for He knew that what He lost

was nothing compared to what He would gain.

For in the end what mattered most was worth his blood and pain.

His Way is narrow, but full of JOY.

It's not stuffed with religion or clever ploys.

It won't trick or lure you like Satan. 

It's not puffed up and polluted, not filled with temptation.

What it offers is pure. What it gives us is life! 

Where it takes us is down a bright path of light!

What it gives us is clarity. What it feeds us is delicious.

What it promises is real and will never fail -- no, not even one of us.
